Trowel-Finished Concrete
Trowel finished concrete, also referred to as "slick finished" concrete, is one of the most common finishes you will see on garage floors, barn floors, and home slabs. We use hand trowels or machine trowels to create its smooth appearance.
We pour home, garage and barn concrete floors using a minimum of 4000 psi concrete and a 4 inch thickness. We place vapor barrier to prevent floor sweating. We use rebar or wire mesh to reinforce the concrete. We typically mix fibers into our concrete which reduces the chance of shrinkage cracking.
